Sale and transport of piglets and breeding animals

Rosgaard A/S handles the sale and transport of piglets and breeding animals both domestically and internationally, as well as sales of slaughter animals, primarily to Germany. Approximately 80 % of sales volume to Germany are standardized contracts.

Rosgaard’s focus on long-term solutions and relationships is evident in our close working relationships with sellers in Denmark and buyers abroad. Personal relationships, quality standards and security are top priorities. Our partners abroad are carefully selected and provide us a strong position in key European markets. Thorough knowledge of local conditions ensures stable transactions and quick reaction times.

We ensure the best conditions for animals under transport through use of our own fleet of vehicles and professional subcontractors. Our fleet is operated by highly trained and qualified drivers. The fleet is among the newest and most modern in the industry, with all vehicles sat-nav equipped approved for long journeys.

Rosgaard A/S handles more than 1.000,000 animals annually, of which approx. 90 % are export.


Young enterprise - deep experience

Rosgaard A/S was established In 2007. The company deals with sales and distribution of piglets and breeding animals on the domestic and international market. The family behind the trading company has been operating with transport of live animals since 1925.

Kaj Rosgaard has long experience in the transport industry. In 2000, Ole and Lars Rosgaard joined the business as the fourth generation of Rosgaards.

Kaj and Ole Rosgaard direct operations in Chr. Rosgaard & Son Ltd., while Rosgaard A/S in the daily is run by Lars Rosgaard.
